Self Raising Flour Base Mix

Making up your own dough is the first step away from using ready made bases and packets of dough mix.

You can get started with self raising flour for ease of use, but you'll need to invest in some kitchen scales to weigh out the flour. You'll also need a large mixing bowl and a rolling pin too.

Here's how to make your own dough.

Ingredients

  • 225g Self Raising Flour
  • 45ml of olive oil
  • 90ml warm water
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method

1. In a large bowl empty the dry mix then slowy mix in the warm water and olive oil.

2. Mix for a few mins to form a dough ball.

3. Knead for five minutes and roll out to form a pizza shape on a floured surface.
