Pepperoni - What is it?
Pepperoni is a spicy dry sausage made from cured pork, a descendant of Italian salami.
Pepperoni comes pre cooked in round wafer thin slices with a speckled pink colour, like salami.
Main ingredients are pork and spices. Mustard flour and chilli give it a mild spicy flavour.
You can find it all supermarkets, look in the chilled meats section.
