Chilli Margherita Pizza Recipe

Step 1: Simple Dough Recipe

I've used my normal recipe for the base, here's another reminder

  • 225g Self Raising Flour
  • 45ml of olive oil
  • 90ml warm water
  • 1/2 tsp salt

I've also added some mixed herbs to the dough for a bit of taste.

Step 2: Mixed the Dough

Add all the ingredients to the bowl and make a well in the mixture, start adding the water/oil and begin mixing with a fork.

Step 3: Dough Ball

Here's the dough ball, now pop it on the table and knead it for 5 mins until it's nice and smooth.

Step 4: Chilli Base Ingredients

Here's what I've made the base out of, some peri peri sauce, tomato puree and I added some lazy garlic (chopped garlic from a jar)

Step 5: Roll out the Pizza

I let the dough ball sit in a warm place for half an hour but didn't see if the dough would rise. It didn't.

Knead the dough for another few minutes and roll out to the desired thickness.

Step 6: The Fun Bit

The best bit is adding the ingregients, I've just added loads of grated cheese to keep it simple (I didn't actually have anything else)

Step 7: Cook and Enjoy

Cook your delicious pizza creation at 220'c until it's done.

Allow it cool a little before serving, the cheese gets hot and burns your mouth if you bite into it too soon. You have been warned lol
